  4. social awareness towards disability issues. • Full and effective participation and inclusion in society & and facilitating that. • Adopting awareness training programmes regarding their rights.

  5. Participating in political and public life. • international cooperation with international development programmes. • Facilitating and supporting capacity-building

  6. I've attended the The Third International Women’s Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD 2006) August 9-27, 2006 Eugene, Oregon, USA

  7. It was a unique opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, exchange wisdom and strategies, create new visions and build networks of support to improve the lives of women and girls with disabilities internationally. • We were about 30 women from all over the world, with different disability, life styles, belief system and backgrounds, we shared experiences and strategies together . • The program was very exciting ,full of activities. we spent most of our unscheduled time with our home stay hosts so we exchanged lots of social community.

Priority Issues for Women with Disabilities including: Economic empowerment, income generation, employment, micro enterprise Human and civil rights Empowerment of women and girls with disabilities through education, training, mentorship and skill-building Health and family issues, including parenting, sexuality, reproductive health, and violence prevention

  9. “Nothing about us without us” I have attended the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) - NGO Management July 9 – 27, 2007

  10. “Nothing about us without us” The specific objectives of the program: • Familiarize participants with the missions, organizational structures, governance management and planning strategies of NGOs; • Examine public relations efforts, fiscal management and transparency policies of NGOs; • Explore the recruitment, retention, and function of volunteers; • Assess various public-private partnerships and NGOs cooperative efforts; • Experience US culture first hand and meet Americans on a one-on one basis.
