CUED CUE - DocumentationA centrally located, clearly itemized area for documentation of resources with both web and CLI based access. CUBE Common User Build EnvironmentAttempting to make common the tools needed for building usable scientific code across resources Common User Environment TeraGridResources CUEMS CUE Management SystemA single common command line system for managing one’s environment, with a single entry to load the CUE. CUEVCCUE Variable CollectionA set of environment variables that will be common across the TeraGrid, making job submission and resource discovery easier. CUETP CUE – Testing Platform Simple program or set of programs that can be compiled and executed through the CUE and will help to illustrate its use.
CUE-wg Status • Implementation moving steadily along. • Defined an RP liaison at all RP sites. • Targeted all architectures to have the CUE implemented. • Begun pilot implementation for CUEVC and CUEMS. • Draft definition documents are being finalized amongst the working group.

CUEMS – Environment Management • Defined a standard CUE Modules implementation • Designed to provide RP’s flexibility while still providing a common front to the users. • Defined core modules: build, comm, core, math, and tg • Defined standard modules for applications. • If available at the RP. • Built with the core modules. • Only default versions, no version numbers. • Defined peripheral modules items, such as “help” and “what-is” commands. • Not required to be the only EMS on systems • Pilot implementation completed. • Distributed to User Services, Software Integration, Campus Champions and RP liasons, feedback being incorporated.
