  4. Human & Physical Features To begin with, El Salvador’s population in 2005 was estimated to be 6,668,000. In contrast, the U.S. had a population of 299,846,000. Thats about 50 times bigger thanEl Salvador’s population! Also, El Salvador’stotal area is 8,124 square miles. On the other hand, the U.S. is 3,794,083 square miles. The life expectancy of El Salvador is 71.9 years,and the life expectancy of the U.S. is 78.2 years. In addition, the passenger cars per 1,000 population is 64. By a large difference, the U.S. has 789. Finally, the literacy rate of El Salvador is 85%, compared to the U.S. literacy rate of86%. In conclusion,the U.S. and El Salvador are very different when comparing human and physical features.

  5. Flag El Salvador’s flag has many interesting facts about its history and symbols. One fact is the blue stripes represent the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Likewise, the white stripe symbolizes peace. The gold triangle in the middle of the flag contains symbols of liberty. The triangle also contains the year that El Salvadorgained independence from Spain. The fourteen clusters of leaves represent the fourteen states of El Salvador. The flag was adopted on September 27, 1972. Also,did you know that the flag of El Salvador means “the savior?” In conclusion, there are many interesting facts about El Salvador’s flag.

  7. Religion To begin with, the official religion of El Salvador is Christianity. Did you know there are about 2 billion Christians in the world? Want to learn more?If so,read on. Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ in C. 30 AD, Israel. Likewise, Christians believe in one God, who is a trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. On the other hand, they believe they is eternal lifeafter death, in heaven or hell (or temporary purgatory). They practice many thingsincluding prayer, Bible study, many sacraments and numerous holidays.

  9. Animals of El Salvador El Salvador has many interesting animal facts. Some of the animals that live in El Salvador includeCoral snakes, Lesser bulldog bats, and scorpions. If you get bitten by a Coral snake and don’t treat it within 12 hours, connections between the brain and muscles are lost. Coral snakesonly bite humans if handled or stepped on. By the way, did you know that the Lesser bulldog bat is known for its amazing fishing ability? That’s why they live near water and damp areas. Also, did you know the lifespan of scorpion is only 3 to 8 years? In addition, they typically only eat insects. In conclusion, El Salvador has many interesting wildlife facts.
