Organizing • To form a union, employees must petition the National Labor Relations Board • Then workers hold an election and vote to join a union
Collective Bargaining • Employees appoint representatives to negotiate for better working conditions and higher wages • Representatives work as the middleman between employees and management
Striking • A form of petition by workers • Workers strike to isolate employers and stop business until they reconsider requests of the Union
