  3. Pyruscalleryana ‘Bradford’ • Flower/Fruit: White, flowers in March; unpleasant odor; .5" rounded brown fruit • Comments: Upright, weak crotches that break with age; easy to transplant; tolerates drought, air pollution, heat; may have thorns

  4. Quercuspalustris • Habit: Deciduous • Growth Rate: Rapid • Height: 60 to 80' • Width: 40 to 50‘ • Leaf: 3 to 6" alternate, simple leaves; 5 to 7 deeply cut lobes; russet, bronze, red fall color
