STAND UP THE 2 TRUSSES ON THE 2 SOLID BLACK LINES AND TAPE THE TRUSS TO THE PAPER. PLACE THE TAPE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUSS. ROADBED PIECES WILL BE PLACE WHERE THE TEST BLOCK IS LOCATED.NOTE:TRUSS NEEDS TO STAND VERTICALLY
THE 2 TRUSSES STANDING VERTICALLY IS IMPORTANT FOR THE TEST BLOCK TO FIT THROUGH THE OPENING.
PLACE THE ROADBED BALSA WOOD PIECES WHERE THE TEST BLOCK IS LOCATED. DON’T ADD MANY PIECES TOWARDS THE END OF THE TRUSSES WHERE THE TEST BLOCK IS NOT LOCATED.IMPORTANT - LAY BALSA WOOD ON TOP OF BOTH TRUSSES.CAUTION: NOT IN BETWEEN THE 2 TRUSSES
CUT THE BALSA WOOD USING THE BALSA CUTTER & GLUE THE PIECE IN PLACE.
USE THE REMAINING BALSA WOOD TO FORM A ROADBED.NOTICE - THE ROADBED PIECES ARE LOCATED OVER THE TEST BLOCK. DO NOT COVER THE HOLE ON THE TEST BLOCK.
STORING YOUR BRIDGEGIVE IT TO YOUR INSTRUCTORDO NOT REMOVE YOUR BRIDGE FROM THE FOAM BOARD UNTIL THE NEXT CLASS. GLUE MUST DRY.
