  3. GD - Rights and Duties • Rights: • Gives orders - “Приказы” / “Prikazy” • The GD is always right? Criticism = Not loyal ? • Duties: • To sign lots of documents (difficult to keep the overview) • Personally to appear at tax authorities from time to time • Expectations to GD: • Should meet status symbols • Should also care about employees personal matters • Should strongly coordinate the business

  4. Typical misunderstandings Your question: Accountant: “What is the turnover for November?” You get numbers incl. VAT Your question : Accountant: “What does employee X earn?” Often they tell you the net salary
