Organizing Fundraising Activities • Have a fundraising Chair on the team • Recruit assistance from other staff/community members outside team • Set up a schedule in advance • Jeans day every last Friday of the month • One activity each academic quarter • Work with other organizations doing fundraising

  5. Fundraising Considerations • Check with administration about soliciting funds • Create template letter to use for soliciting donations • Create short fact sheet on PBSIS to include with donation letter

  6. Fundraising Considerations • Utilize businesses with ties to schools community • Parents • Service providers • Create spread sheet of potential businesses • Keep track of who donated and amount • Send thank you letters and let them know how their donation contributed
