Definitions Addiction • The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. Addicted • Physically and mentally dependent on a particular substance, and unable to stop taking it without incurring adverse effects. • Enthusiastically devoted to a particular thing or activity.
What can we become addicted to? • With your same partner- come up with some things that may become addicting
Who do Addictions Affect? • Is there a specific group of people affected by addictions?
Info about Addictions • On your own think about what you know about addictions- • Brainstorm where this knowledge comes from • Friends, family, media?
