Cyclic monophosphates mostly affect T lymphocytes, which affect all stages of the immune reaction.
ATOPIC DERMATITIS (continued) • Acupuncture effects in chronic dermatosis: • Normalizes immunoglobulin content of blood, T-B lymphocyte ratio, and increases phagocytosis and activity of the cells of the peripheral blood. • Also, positive emotional, motivational, sedative and antidepressive effects of acupuncture have been shown in the patients with atopic dermatitis.
