  3. Did you know? • Most zoologists don’t work in a zoo! • There are different types of zoologists like cryptozoologists (they work in swamps and also with the past animals like dinosaurs).

  4. Job Responsibilities • Study animals’ behavior • Train animals • Dissect dead animals • Create stimulating habitats for zoo animals • Track sea animals on how they migrate by using new technology

  5. Education • Need at least a Bachelor Degree • In high school lots of things are recommended for this job like biology, calculus, chemistry, physics and lots more.

  6. Tools • Microscopes • Slides • Computers

  7. Why I like this job • I would like to have this job because I love animals. • I also would like this job because you don’t have to follow a supervisor. You are your own.

  8. Work Areas • Outside • In a lab • In a zoo • On a boat

  9. Salary Minimum wage: $15,080 US Mean Annual wage: $42,270 Zoologists and Wildlife Biologist Wage: $55,290
