  2. What is a seals habitat? Seals are found mostly in the sub-polar, polar and in temperate waters.

  3. All different kinds of seals • Leopard seal • Harbor seal • Elephant seal • Weddell seal • California sea lion • Northern fur seal • Harp seal

  4. Seals Adaptations Some adaptations are when they hear a predators coming they go on land or in the water. They also camoflodge into rocks in the ice.

  5. What do seals look like? • They have thick coats of fine fur for insulation against the cold. • Their blubber is 1 to 6 inches thick. • They have small heads and small curved noses. • Their four legs are 18 inches long and6 inches wide. • Their body is 16 feet. • They weigh 8,800 pounds.

  6. Seals reproduction The young are conceived during one mating season and are born the next. It doesn't grow in it’s mother’s body until six to five weeks to after conetion. It takes nine months to develop.
