  4. Hi, I'm Mr Mercury Mercury Did you know that my diameter is 4,878 kilometres? And that I'm 58,326 kilometres from the sun? I don’t have any moons though. It only takes me 88 earth days to orbit the sun where as it takes you 365! I weigh 3.3 septillion kilograms! Click here to go back to the menu. My surface is rocky with many craters. My surface temperature ranges from a massive 467 degrees Celsius to minus 183 degrees. I’m named after the fast footed Roman messenger of gods It takes me 58.65 days to rotate once I have very little atmosphere, it consists of atoms blasted off my surface by the solar wind.

  14. Finds 1. Planets that are gaseous and orbit the sun in less than 20,000 earth days. There are two planets that meet this criteria. These are Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn is a gas planet and takes 10,760 days. Jupiter is also a gas planet but takes only 4,332 days to orbit the sun. 2. Planets with less that 10 moons and a single rotation time of less than 100 hours. There are three planets this meet this criteria. These planets are Earth, Mars and Mercury. Earth takes 24 hours to rotate once and has one moon. Mars takes 24.62 hours to rotate once and has two moons. Mercury doesn't have any moons and takes 58.65 hours to rotate once.
