It is important that you watch the amount of time you spend when you use either a mobile phone or a landline. The more time you talk the more money it will cost. You may think you have FREE mobile phone calls with your plan but they may only be with someone whose mobile phone is with the same company as yours. Overseas calls can cost a lot of money be aware of time
Scams (tricks) Be aware of SCAMS (tricks) If you receive calls saying you have won money be aware that it is probably a scam. If you receive emails that offer you money they are most likely a scam. Do not agree to any phone call or internet request that you do not understand.
Pay TV – What it costs • Pay TV can cost a lot of money each month. • Often they advertise that it is free or discounted months. • Make sure you understand what it will cost after the free or discounted months. • Some plans can last for 2 years
Put a Do Not Knock sticker on your front door. When salespeople come to your door point to it and tell them to go away. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TELL THEM TO GO AWAY.
