Remote maintenance eyebox • The eyeboxpublic.IP data service facilitates direct access to servers and other systems connected to the Internet via a mobile network.eyeboxpublic.IP permanently assigns a public fixed IP address to a server using a mobile network router. To this end mdex has created the transition from the public Internet to the private mdex network via its own eyeboxpublic.IP gateway. • All servers (web, E-Mail, FTP, VPN, remote access, etc.) accessed via the Internet require a fixed public IP address! • For this reason fixed public IP addresses are offered as a service option for DSL access points (e.g. fixed IP address from Arcor for business connections). • Up until now, this service option was not available for mobile network Internet access points. As a general rule the latter usually have private, dynamic IP addresses.
