Master Plan Goals • Transform Pleasantville into a beautiful suburban residential campus. • Migrate the Briarcliff programs onto Pleasantville. • Enrich our community-friendly and environmentally-sensitive campus. • Reduce dependence on automobiles and improve pedestrian circulation in and around campus.

A Vision for Campus Life • Increase the critical mass of students in residence to enhance campus life • Leverage the bucolic landscape by creating grassy quads and landscaped pedestrian pathways to provide more central gathering spaces • Enrich co-curricular programming through Living-Learning Communities

  4. A Vision for Campus Life Building Momentum • Continued strong demand for student housing • Growth of existing programs in nursing, communications, the environment, criminal justice • Expanding our impact on Pleasantville as a “college town”

Where We Are Today • 100 % Schematic Designs are complete • Prioritized Academic Space in Westchester • Completed the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process • Mount Pleasant Planning Board issued and adopted a findings statement on the Final Environmental Impact Statement • Financial Feasibility Study complete • Board of Trustees approved the continuation of the Regulatory Approval Process

Next Steps • Complete Design Development Phase – Feb 2013 • Issue RFP for Construction Manager Firm – Jan 2013 • Submit Site Plan Application to Planning Board – Jan 2013 • Complete Zoning Petition Process with Town Board – March 2013 • Seek approval from Board of Trustees to begin construction – May 2013 • Complete Construction Documents for Phase 1 A projects June/July 2013 • Begin Construction – August 2013
