  1. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10-12 Did you know that... There are more Christian martyrs today than there were in 100 AD in the days of the Roman Empire? This slideshow is to bring awareness of the struggle of our brethren in the state of Orissa, India to the Christian world. Recently, they have been suffering the horrors of terrible and unjust persecution by Hindu fundamentalists that are determined to annihilate the Christian faith from their country. For the sake of younger viewers, we have omitted some of the more graphic and gory pictures & scenes that illustrate the reality of their suffering. We hope this will motivate you to pray for the persecuted church in Orissa and that you will appreciate and take advantage of the religious freedom you have.   5. Angry Mobs throwing stones & burning homes. “Where there is hatred let me sow love.”

  6. Vans & Cars of Christians Burned. Pray for peace to be restored. For their faith to stand strong.

  7. Burned Churches.

  8. Violence.

  9. Bibles Being Burned.

  10. Jeeps & buses burned.

  11. Mission Jeeps burned.

  12. Christians move out to the forests.

  13. Wounded by an axe attack & still standing strong for the Lord.

  14. I was burned.

  15. Once in a family, now they are orphans.

  16. Pastor’s body awaiting burial.

  17. Edward beaten for Christ.

  18. A martyr’s wife.

  19. Pray for comfort for the many widows & children left without fathers.

  20. Pray for them which despitefully use you & persecute you.

  21. Peace RallyPray for Peace.

  22. Relief Camp Pray for supply lines.

  23. Pray for new homes.

  24. Pray for faith, endurance & courage.

  25. OMaster, That I may not seek To be consoled, but to console; Not to be understood, but to understand; Not to be loved, but rather to love; For it is in giving, that we will receive; And in forsaking, that we truly gain; By forgiving, that we are forgiven; And in dying, That we are born again to eternal life.

  27. I have prayed that your faith fail not. I am with you always even unto the ends of the earth. I the Lord your God will hold your right hand, saying to you fear not.

  29. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ...In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
