Today’s Exploration… • Take the ELA Practice Test • Complete the graphic organizer as you the complete assessments – note any content/strategies/tech skills students will need to complete assessment. • Hold on to this graphic organizer for the next few faculty meetings to discussion/reflect & plan with your grade-level team.

  5. SBAC Readiness Graphic Organizer: “Look-Fors” and Essential Questions Content: What do students need to know in order to answer the questions? Skills & Strategies: What skills are you applying as you process the questions? Technology Skills: What computer skills are needed to answer the question and take the test? Habits of Mind: What attributes/character traits are necessary for students to be successful?

SBAC Readiness: “Look Fors” and Essential Questions…Now What? • We will have time to discuss Graphic Organizer at our next faculty meeting: • What does it mean? • What do we need to plan and teach differently? • What new content knowledge, instructional strategies or technology skills do we need to learn?
