CAT Patna decision on 29-10-2013 “Both the officials present have also assured this Tribunal that they have undertaken steps to ensure expeditious and time bound disposal of the cases of retired employee. The Chief General Manger, B.S.N.L. has also informed that certain difficulties which were being faced in regard to issuance of presidential order of a category of employees have now been resolved following the receipt directions vide letter dated 13.10.2013. It has been made clear to both officials that the interest of this Tribunal lies primarily in timely and expeditious disposal of pension cases and that all actions which contribute towards this objective need to be taken by the respondents with utmost seriousness. Further, that appropriate monitoring of all such cases needs to be ensured since this Tribunal is receiving many cases of this nature. The officials have assured that this will be ensured.”

  14. Issues related to GPF Accounting Cases received very late. Interest payment liability. After retirement date BSNL has to pay. Nominee details must. Access to HRMS package still not given. O.B. of TSMs as on 01-04-2013 still required. Cases to be sent in advance. Pension Contribution to be given on maximum of the scale. ~ Rs. 50 crores shortfall as of now. Soft copy of Pen. Contribution will facilitate.
