Inclusion Criteria • Case-control study • Provide OR and 95%CI or enough information to calculate OR and 95%CI • In-home exposure only, not occupational or urban exposures • Differentiate coal association from other biomass fuels • Population not part of previously published study Hosgood et al.
Statistical Methods • Used unadjusted OR and 95%CI from each study • Results were similar when using adjusted ORs and 95%Cs from studies that reported them • Random-effects model • Heterogeneity among studies determined by a χ2-based Q-statistic • Funnel plots • Begg’s test Hosgood et al.
