  2. Operating under the current license agreement, Adobe requested on Jan 2, 2013 that a UT-Wide Adobe Software License Review be performed. • Audit requires UT to provide: • "an unedited accurate report of all Software installed by Member and/or Affiliates" • "all valid purchase documentation for all Software within 30 days of request"

  3. Step 1 • Inventory of ALL Adobe Software products on ALL UT-owned and operated machines • Inventory of all Adobe License purchase records for any and all Adobe products purchased through • UT Technology Store • any other vendor.

  4. Step 2 • Adobe will compare UT’s software deployment with its license purchases and submit a findings report including complete license reconciliation for UT’s records. • All compliance findings (i.e., deficits in licensing) must be resolved by purchasing deficient licenses (if any) immediately and no later than 14 days from the notification of findings by Adobe.

  5. ITS assistance with Step 1(Gather Data from Workstations/Servers) • PC • Run Adobe tool automatically upon login • Automatically store report • MAC • Users run Adobe tool manually (ITS will provide instructions how to use the Adobe tool) • (Automatically?) store report • Servers (Non ITS) • Contact ITS. We will assist running Adobe tool on your server. • (Automatically?) store report

  6. ITS assistance with Step 1(License Purchase) • ITS will serve as Central Collection point of all records. • ITS provides Records of Purchases made through ITS for Adobe products.

  7. Your Assistance with Step 1 • Inventory of all Adobe License purchase records for any and all Adobe products purchased through • UT Technology Store • any other vendor. • Provide ITS with these records

  8. Timeline • De/Refining the Data Gathering Process (Currently ongoing) • Gather Required Information (Beginning of Feb) • Data Submission (No later than Feb 15, 2013)
