How Will I Be Assessed? * In the external exam and class tests there will be a range of essay topics I must choose ONEfrom. * I will need to write a response essay of at least 400 words which shows detailed knowledge of the film and how film techniques are used in it. This means I will need to memorise details and quotes!
Study the Exemplars • Read over the exemplars and attach to your 2B5.
How can I reach Achieve or Merit or Excellence ? • Know the film in great detail ( watch it a lot!!) • Memorise film terms/techniques and their effects • Make sure my class notes on the film are complete for revision • Complete in-class and homework practice tasks for feedback from the teacher • Use the right structure in my response essays • Write at least 400 words in my response essays • Include quotes and specific detail in my response essay to support my ideas.
