Advantage GAGAN - Availability • GAGAN transmit signal similar to GPS signal • GAGAN satellites can be used as additional GPS satellites • This increases the number of visible satellites in urban canyon, forest canopy and when an aircraft maneuvers • This improves the DOP and availability of GPS

Accord’s FAA Certified GPS-GAGAN Receiver • Accord’s NexNav line of GPS-WAAS/GAGAN receivers are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of USA for use in commercial civil aviation • Receiver conforms to DO-229D, DO-301, DO-160F, DO-178B, DO-254, TSO-C145c etc. • Technology and product indigenously developed by Accord. Measurement accuracy: 10 cm • Accord’s GPS-SBAS/GAGAN Receiver flying in hundreds of foreign aircraft in USA, Europe and Australia • Receiver was also used for validation of GAGAN Signal in space

GAGAN Rx for Coast Guards, Railways • Differential GPS (DGPS) is the most widely used technique for accurate positioning for coast guards and fishermen • DGPS position errors grow proportional to the distance between the DGPS reference station and the user receiver • GAGAN is the NATIONWIDE DGPS system, which does not require any DGPS reference station or Modem • GAGAN provides better accuracy uniformly compared to DGPS and most suitable for Coast Guards and Railways GPS Module for AIS
