  14. Practice Activities and ImpactsGoal: I need to improve my ability to pay bills and find paperwork at home! What I did: I purchased a dark wood three shelf bookcase, and a filing cabinet. Activity to meet Goal: Buy tools and supplies in order to improve organization of my home office and improve my bill paying. Impact: I reduced clutter in my home office by 80%. I improved my on time bill paying to 100% and can find books and files in under 5 minutes. Oregon Department of Education

  15. Practice Activities and ImpactsWHAT DOES ODE WANT? Activity from Grant: Software and curriculum were purchased to assist students in increasing skill gains. What you did: CIS and other software was purchased. Impact: CIS (Career Information System) is now being used by 100% of students. All CTE teachers and counselors are using this to recruit and recommend programs. There has been a 20% increase in students completing Programs of Study. Oregon Department of Education

Activity: Secondary and post secondary instructors developed activities to promote articulation and educate students on post secondary education and career opportunities. What you did: Organized and ran a career day, passed out flyers. Impact: How many students attended career day, survey of students on the day, how many flyers were handed out, number of specials pops reached, pre post survey of students’ knowledge Oregon Department of Education

What you did: Ran professional development with all teachers 3 times Activity: Staff development throughout the school year for all teachers on implementation of reading strategies across the curriculum. Impact: Oregon Department of Education
