How so? -> Bring your own device (BYOD) -> make recommendations, check out suggestions and report back Groups to join (moderated) – start with IATEFL (15,000 + separate for SIGs) and TESOLacademic.org (12,000); For explicit links to other social media CPD activities try FB group #ELTChat; Some you “like” and “follow” – try “TeachEnglish– British Council and Eaquals Association – add a comment about Some are event specific – International Language Symposium Brno 2017

Include @tesolacademicfor a RT help building a PLN Download the Twitter app (or pair up, as required) Check out @tesolacacemic; @thornburyscott ; @iatefl; @joedalefollow – use such examples to build a PLN RT some of their tweets Tweet something to #ILSB17 Tweet something from the A to Z blog Got your own favourite blog, website, app, etc? – Tweet this to share with others Try an #ELTChat event
