2017-18 Goals and Results District:The proficiency gap between the non-FRP and the FRP students at MCC District, using the MCA Reading accountability tests, will decrease from 29.2% in 2017 to 27.0% in 2018. By increasing the proficiency rate of the groups as follows: • The Non-Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 81.8% in 2017 to 82.0% in 2018. • The Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 52.6% in 2017 to 55.0% in 2018. Elementary: The proficiency gap between the non-FRP and FRP students in grades 3-6 at MCC Elementary, using the MCA Reading accountability tests, will decrease from 25.8% in 2017 to 24.1% in 2018. By increasing the proficiency rate of the groups as follows: • The Non-Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 81.6% in 2017 to 81.9% in 2018. • The Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 55.8% in 2017 to 57.8% in 2018. High School: The proficiency gap between the non-FRP and the FRP students in grades 7, 8, and 10 at MCC Secondary, using the MCA Reading Accountability tests, will decrease from 35.2% in 2017 to 33.6% in 2018. By increasing the proficiency rate of the groups as follows: • The Non-Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 82.1% in 2017 to 82.5% in 2018. • The Free & Reduced Priced Lunch students will increase from 46.9% in 2017 to 48.9% in 2018.
Graduation Rate Report • Graduation rates for the class of 2018 will be released this spring.
2018-19 Goals District:Murray County Central District #2169 will raise student achievement in Math by increasing the percentage of students who meet or exceed standards on the MCA & MTAS assessments from 69.7% to 71.2% based on the MCC average proficiency rate from 2018 - 2019 state accountability tests. Elementary: Murray County Central Elementary has set a goal to raise the proficiency level of students enrolled October 1, 2018, in grades 3 through 6 on all math accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) that will increase from 70.7 % to 72.7% based on the MCC average proficiency rate from 2018 - 2019 state accountability tests. High School: Murray County Central High School has set a goal to raise the proficiency level of students enrolled October 1, 2018, in grades 7 through 12 on all math accountability tests (MCA and MTAS) that will increase from 68.5% to 70.5% based on the MCC average proficiency rate from 2018 - 2019 state accountability tests.
