3 kinds of people taught Those who were actively seeking the proper way to serve God Those who thought they were serving God, but were really in error Those who were serving something entirely different than God People are the same today.
3 kinds of responses Some outright rejected the Gospel Some were skeptical about the Gospel Some readily accepted the Gospel Responses are the same today.
The growth of the Gospel in Acts How a small group changed the world….
Ac. 10 – Gospel offered to Gentile people ALL NATIONS
Ac. 19:20 – Grew mightily and prevailed THE WORD OF GOD
Other churches not mentioned in book of Acts “These men who have turned the world upside down.” (Ac. 17:6)
What they did not do: Establish a church headquarters Storm Rome for legislation changes Develop armies to take world by force Take on social agendas Appeal to the carnal side of man They really didn't even set out to change the world.
