  8. Romanian Tier-2 Federation • 4x Rack with 3 3kVA UPS per Rack • WN_torque – 86xdual core Xeon 3GHz, hyperthreading • WN_torque – 327 logical CPUs • WN_torque - all Alice nodes and part of Atlas nodes are on SLC 4.5(GLite 3.1.0)‏

Romanian Tier-2 Federation • Hardware upgrade: • Increase the number of of WNs with 62 dual core AMD 2,8GHz and 10 quad Core Intel 2,33GHz • Increase the Storage capacity with 8 TB + 40TB SAN (up to 160TB) • Upgrade the WN storage capacity(Atlas needs 25GB/job)‏ • Migration from 3000VA UPS to 5000VA UPS • And a 240KVA UPS(3+1 80KVA)

  14. Romanian Tier-2 Federation • Software upgrade: • Migrate to glite-CE and SLC 4.5 • Creating more DPM pools and go for SLC 4.5 • Migrate with all WNs to SLC 4.5
