General Chinese Domain NameRegistration Policy • 1st stage (11/13/2000~01/13/2001) • Priority is given to Domain Name’s already in our Database • Pre-apply for individual Domain Name • Applicants applying for the same Domain Name,chosen randomly • There is a 2 month window for application • No cost for registration

General Chinese Domain Name Registration Policy • 2nd Stage (provide service on 02/16/2001) • First come,first serve • Certification is not required,confirmation e-mail • Registration fee/annual fee is NT$225/NT$450 • 1 additional domain name(xxx.台灣)is included with each general Chinese domain name(xxx.tw) • 1 additional simplified Chinese domain name is included with each traditional Chinese domain name

  10. General Chinese Domain Name The Limitation of Character • The length of characters can not be over 14 Chinese characters or 28 bytes (alphanumeric, hyphen) • Chinese domain name can not consist entirely alphanumeric symbols • Must comply with RFC-10355 • Big5 based

  11. Dispute &Remedies policy • Dispute Resolution policy ※Domain name disputes to be resolved by providers • Registry may transfer or cancel DN ※90 day non-payment cancellation policy ※receipt of written notice from Registrant ※written dispute resolution either of Providers or Court’s decision
