Special Enrollment Requirement • All business submitted prior to 11/15/2014 (Open Enrollment) must also have a proof of a qualifying event attached. • After submission of the electronic application please send the qualifying event document to mmindividual@medmutual.comwith the 18 digit Application # included. This can be found on the confirmation screen, confirmation email or the submitted application portal when logged into the Health Insurance Marketplace- Individual.
Enter Prospect Information (cont’d) Open Enrollment begins November 15, 2014 and ends February 15, 2015.
Payment Options: EFT, Credit Card, & Other *If selecting EFT or Credit Card, it will only be set up for the initial payment.
Most Common Application Status • Successfully enrolled: Application has been approved (either by auto-approval or manual-approval) • Hold for enrollment or pediatric dental: Under review for special enrollment and/or pediatric dental • Application submitted-waiting for initial payment: Under review for binder payment • Hold for binder and Underwriting review: Under review for special enrollment and/or pediatric dental AND initial binder payment. • Application withdrawn: Proper special enrollment paperwork and/or pediatric dental paperwork was not received within 60 days and/or initial binder payment was not received by request effective date (1 day before)
Additional Application Status • Application expired: Application denied. Proper special enrollment paperwork and/or pediatric dental paperwork was not valid/insufficient • Application incomplete-not submitted: Application has not been completed or submitted for approval (saved-application-prospect) • Application incomplete-abandoned: Status for when a started and saved application (prospect) is never submitted to Medical Mutual
Uploading Paper Application • Select all boxes in the “Allow to View” Selection Box. • In the “Subject” box type the words “Paper Application” • Select :Browse” and upload the document • Select “Send”
Short Term & Medicare Supplement Enrollments • To access quote and access the short term and Medicare Supplement products, use your personalized online application link available on mybrokerlink.com by clicking on Online App- Individual.
