Database Alerts and Persistent / Durable Links • Alerts are notifications regarding additions to the database • Persistent or Durable links are links that remain static (do not change) to the search, journal or article of your choice • These links can be established for • Subject Searches • Journal / Publication • Articles 1
EMERALD — Alerts • Search Alerts (automatic notification of latest addition of search matches to database) • Journal Table OF Contents Alerts (automatic notification of latest addition of the journal to the database) • Weekly Digest Alerts (Summaries of Journal Issues Published Each Week) 19
After clicking “Save Search”, Edit the alert by adding name & number of results to be returned. Click “Add” Search Alerts will be emailed to the email address in your account 23
Table of Contents Alert • Sign in to your Account • Click “My Profile” Click “Alerts • Click “TOC” (Table of Contents) 24
Click “Add Journal” Browse, Highlight, Click “Add” Click Done” 25
