Cornell Notes • This is an interactive activity and involves using the original notes many times over to build memory of the content. This gives a focus for the notes – the big idea Create questions Answers to question posed and add any additional information Summarise here and include key terms/vocabulary
Teach yourself/others • Identify the resources you need • Read through the material (it may help to read aloud and repeat key points) • Write a summary • Revise the summary • Explain the concept to somebody else. • Revisit the notes to refresh your mind and then explain it to either yourself out loud or to another person.
