Objectives and expected outcomes of the workshop • Skill consultants on : • GF grant lifecycle from GA preparation-phase 1 implementation to phase 2 preparation • support GA preparation in 24 countries approved R5 • Skill NTP managers to be PR in phase 2 or R6 • Prepare coordinated TA answer through RO/CO, partners (GIST TB) • Prepare 3 generic courses for the 3 diseases

Methodology of the workshop • Facilitators: GF Secretariat • Secretariat: STB Natacha, Andrea, PY • Agenda and content: 3 parts • Introduction day 1: unit 1-4: GF/TB status, GF structure, grants, actors • Proposal to GA signature day 1-4: unit 5-11 LFA assessment, ME, PSM, workplan, CPs, consolidation • Grant implementation day 4-5: unit 12-15: implementation, bottleneck, phase 2 preparation • + 3 TB issues: GLC, assessment MDGs, ACSM • Presentation, Q&A, exercise, gameplay

  4. Next steps • Country support to 24 countries approved for R5 • Stop TB secretariat of Stop TB Partnership for coordination of TA through partners and WHO region/CO (GIST for TB) • Support countries meeting GFATM bottlenecks • Develop generic course for TB, HIV, Malaria • Identify and support to NTPs to become PR
