  2. You will be designing a paper quilt block, 8 1/2” square, on a 4-patch or 9-patch grid, so look at these quilts with that in mind. • Look for color schemes that appeal to you and designs that you feel are interesting. Use the ideas you find here as a springboard for your own design.
