  2. Example Explain what a hero is. Give an example from your own experience or impressions. Describe his or her qualities. Jessica Bragdonis a hero to me because she is brave and compassionate. She shows these qualities when she supports her students in a mentoring program called Sources of Strength. She helps students help each other through issues such as depression and bullying. This is admirable because she turned a personal tragedy into a cause that she is dedicated to. I know she has made a difference in the lives of many young people.
