Importing Data Into FathomE-Drop Open a blank Fathom document Left click, hold and drag the e next to the URL and drag it up into the Fathom document
Importing Data Into FathomE-Drop You should see a collection in your Fathom document. A collection contains or holds your data.
Modeling Data In FathomCase Table Left click on the New Case Table icon Now left click in the open white space of your document. You should see a Case Table.
Modeling Data In FathomNew Graph Left click on the New Graph icon. Now left click in the open white space of your document. You should see an Empty Plot.
Modeling Data In FathomGraphing Left click, hold and drag the first attribute over to the horizontal axis of the Empty Plot.
Modeling Data In FathomGraphing You now have a Dot Plot showing the distribution of clam widths. Each dot is a clam
Modeling Data In FathomGraphing Left click, hold and drag the first attribute over to the vertical axis of the Empty Plot.

Modeling Data In FathomLine of Best Fit You now have a brown Movable Line as well as its equation. To enlarge the graph, left click, hold and drag the lower left hand corner of the frame.
Modeling Data In FathomLine of Best Fit Try grabbing (left click and hold) and dragging either end and the middle of the brown Movable Line. Notice how the equation automatically updates itself. Move the Movable Line so that you have your line of best fit.
