Introduction • Easy share is a client/server based application used to exchange information between the computer systems connected accross a LAN network. • Also the clients connected in a LAN network can access the data easily, stored in the machine which is running a server program (Easy Share basically provides a centralized data access to the clients connected from server).

  4. Why there is a need ?

  5. Benefits • Centralization – Access, resources and data security are well controlled by the server. • Accessibility – Server can be accessed remotely and across multiple platforms. • User Friendly – Familiar point and click interface.

  6. Applications • Easy Share application can be used in company and organizations where every day they need to transfer the data accross their local network , which results in reduction of time and cost. • Easy Share can also be used in colleges / schools to main the study material for students in a server machine , so that students can use this application to access the data from the server easily.

  7. Future Scope • Some future enhancements can be done to this applications , such as : • A powerfull server which is able to handle multiple clients. • As security is a major issue , therefore some security features can also be implemented like : • Blocking the client if they enters the wrong password. • Alloting every client a session time to access the data.
