Sandford Parish National School: By: Feargus C. Every morning I go to Sandford Parish National School, Getting an education is a very useful tool, My teacher, Ms. Murphy, is always there Making sure we are in very good care. The class is made up of girls and boys And apparently we are all “little joys.” The Green Team are trying to save the trees, While me and my friends are playing A, B, C We have learned all the rivers, mountains and lakes, Unfortunately some of us have made a few mistakes, My favourite subject is definitely art, In which painting and drawing play a large part. Overall my school is great, Results in my exams will decide my fate, But no matter how I score in my tests The feeling of being happy is by far the best I could not wish for a better start, And Sandford Parish will always be in my heart.
Sandford SchoolBy: Nicola O’C. The bell rings with a melodical chime, The sound of laughter fills the air, Like a thousand angles laughing, The yard is filled with joy. The warm classroom, we file in, With a sigh of relief, The bitter cold, nipped the fingers of the children, They sit down at their desks, Ready for lessons. Art, a quiet time, people Working on their pieces Paint, carefully placed upon the page, While others trace the Thin line of pencil, Art, a wonderful time. P.E., children run around Jumping and hopping, Anything to win, their minds focused on the goal, The last minute is the worst, hoping you will score again, The whistle blows, it is the end.
