POWERED BY What is IMPREGNATION  Vacuum Impregnation is a method that seals the casting resulting from porosity.  The impregnating sealant is introduced into the voids within the wall thickness of the casting through vacuum and/or pressure methods.  A cost effective and permanent solution to casting porosity. There is no limit to the size of castings which can be impregnated.  Process does not distort, discolor, or affect the casting.

Impregnation helps to eliminate casting defects & ensure better casting quality for longer duration:  Gas Porosity: Blowholes, open holes, pinholes.  Shrinkage defects: shrinkage cavity.  Mold material defects: Cut and washes, swell, drops, metal penetration, rat tail.  Pouring metal defects: Cold shut, misrun, slag inclusion.  Metallurgical defects: Hot tears, hot spot.

  4. POWERED BY HOW IT CAN HELP? Applying a dry vacuum  Impregnation permanently seals micro-or macro-porosity voids for pressure tightness and blocks corrosion and fungus growth. Now penetrates into the porosities  It also can improve the machinability of powder metallurgy parts. Rinsed components are now immersed in a hot water bath  The impregnating resins act as a lubricant to eliminate machining chatter and prolong tool life. Sealant is retained by the atmospheric pressure  Preventing Leaks, Improving looks and Increasing Profits. Components are rinsed to remove any traces
