  2. Our Goal • To improve service outcomes for local people and maximise the opportunities created through ‘our plans for the New Blackpool’. Particularly the most vulnerable and disadvantaged

  3. High Level Objectives • To improve service delivery through closer working and greater co-operation of council services and other public sector partners (particularly Police and Health)

  4. Taking stock of our our Neighbourhood Approach and moving forward • Integrated Neighbourhood Improvement • Feedback from Members and communities • Balance of resources • Need for a strategic approach to interventions to improve physical environment

  5. How? • Learn from experience of what works • Increasing partnership working • Improve service delivery • Focus delivery at neighbourhood level and work with communities

  6. Outcome Review of neighbourhood boundaries • Creation of three priority areas – Central, South and Grange Park • Review of organisation structure • New neighbourhood improvement division • Three neighbourhood managers and teams • Wider Reassurance Plus teams • Integration of CDU and private sector housing
