Objectives: • foundation of an energy agency in Freiburg • civil participative installations • lobbying for renewable energies • 1994 First participative installation • 1997 Establishing of the magazine „Die SolarRegion“ • 1999 Foundation of the Energy Agency Regio Freiburg • 2001 Foundation of the fesa GmbH
Why civil participative installations ? • Possible without suitable roof • Limited financial capital enough to participate • Together it’s possible to build bigger installations than alone. • Energy consumers become energy producers
