  4. Why I chose this painting • I chose this painting because it shows Jesus as a man, not the son of God. He was fulfilling the his Father’s will, that all man should be baptized to receive the Holy Spirit. The picture shows the Heavens open up and the Holy Spirit is represented by the dove.

  10. Why I chose this painting • I chose this painting because it represents the extreme to which Mary and Joseph had to go through to keep Jesus safe. They had to travel great distance and they did it for the love of their son and God.
