MIPI Phase 2 – Drivers • Primary Driver • Operational Stability. • Data and functionality migration from the current systems started under the MIPI07 project, and will lead to the decommissioning of the legacy system. • Secondary Drivers • The project enables National Grid to meet its ongoing licence and UNC obligations: • Robust platform for future changes related to the publication of market information and future regulatory requirements in the UK and Europe • Enables National Grid to meet Information provision targets/incentives • Support for legacy system is due to be withdrawn. • MIPI Phase 2 sanctioned on the 26-02-3009
