  1. 2014 Connectathon ConferenceDocent Instructions DOCENT ASSIGNMENTS: John Donnelly Chis Carr Todd Cooper Didi Davis 1 2 3 2 4 Docents to arrive in the Conference Room (Grand Ballroom EF at 3:30pm Docents will be given signs and numbers according to the assignment above. Please see Celina for this. We will divide all conference attendees evenly among the 4 tour groups. At approximately 4:00pm, docents will depart with their groups in a staggered fashion, 2 at a time. The first 2 (John/Chris) will leave first. Approx. 1 minute later, Todd/Didi will depart. Each docent will take their group to each of the 4 stops on the floor, starting with their assigned number, then moving CLOCKWISE to the next stop. At each stop there will be a microphone/speaker. Introduce the speaker at the stop (see below), and they will speak for NO LONGER THAN 8-10 minutes. An announcement will be made when it is time to move to the next stop.
