Getting Started: How to Make a Scale Drawing Click the Grid Background button on the Math Draw Toolbar. Adjust scale options to what you desire. TIP: Under the Tool Factory Math Draw Options menu you can change the units from Metric to Imperial.

Tools: Calliper Tool On the Word Processor toolbar click the Polygon button and add a polygon to the page. On the Math Draw toolbar click the Calliper Tool button. Click, hold, move your mouse, and click again to trace the measurement of your polygon.
Tools: Measure Mode On the Menu bar click Tool Factory Math Draw>Tool Factory Math Draw Options. Check the box to “Show Measure mode Button”. Then adjust the Measure Mode options as desired. On the Math Draw toolbar click this button to turn Measure Mode on/off.
Tools: Object Properties Draw an object on the page and select the object by clicking on it. Then click the Object Properties button on the Math Draw toolbar. The object properties panel gives you data about the selected object on the screen. If you have two or more objects selected Math Draw calculates the combined area of the objects.
Tools: Protractor Using the Polygon Tool on the Word Processor toolbar draw a graphic. Select the Protractor button on the Math Draw toolbar. Rotate the protractor and resize it as needed then place it on the graphic to measure the graphic’s angles.
Tools: Ruler On the Word Processor toolbar click the Polygon button and draw a polygon. On the Math Draw toolbar click the Ruler button. Click and drag the ruler out onto the object. To adjust the scale of the ruler click the Grid button on the Math Draw toolbar and adjust the Scale Drawing options.
Special Features: Draw Resource Bank Click the Resource Bank button on the General Toolbar. Click the Draw folder to access pre-made images.
Special Features: Grids Click the Grid button on the Math Draw Toolbar. Adjust grid square properties. Adjust how the grid is viewed. Adjust Scale Drawing options. Don’t forget to check the Display Grid check box or your grid won’t appear on the screen.
Special Features: Special Fills 1. Place a graphic on the page. 2. Click the Special Fills button on the Math Draw Toolbar. 3. Choose the type, color, and transparency of the fill you would like to apply. Clicking the Textured Fills button opens up the Texture Fills in the Resource Bank. Select a fill and it will be applied, this is one of the best features of Math Draw.
Special Features: Using Layers Click the layers button on the Math Draw toolbar.
