How to Request Transcripts

2. Naviance • Log into your Naviance • If you forgot your password ask your teacher to reset it or see one of the counselors • Once your in click on the “Colleges” Tab • Then click • “transcripts”

3. If we have not received your FERPA form it will say “We have not received authorization from your parents to release transcripts form colleges” • You will need to turn in your FERPA form before you continue • You may get a FERPA form from the counselors

4. If we have your FERPA form you are clear to request transcripts • Select “Request Transcripts for my colleges”

5. If you have colleges already on your list of “colleges I’m applying to” you can just check of the request for transcripts here • Then click “Request Transcripts” • ADD colleges if you have not done so by December 27 • If you have not added colleges to your list you will add colleges here before you can request transcripts • Once your are done click “request transcripts”

6. Go to “Colleges” • Click “transcripts” • Here you can view the status of your requests

7. From this screen you can see the status of your transcript and the fees associated with your transcript request

8. Transcripts • Once you request transcripts we will notify you of a time and date where we will be collecting your “transcript request fees” • All fees must be paid so that we may mail out your transcripts • Please see us if any issues arise with submitting payment for transcripts fees we do not want your transcripts to arrive late. We are willing to work with you • You will need to request your “FINAL” transcripts at the end of the school year to submit them to the school you choose to attend • CSU’s: Only CSU’s are requesting transcripts mid year • UC’s: you do not have to request transcripts for UC’s unless they are requesting them from you in the form of email or letter • Privates/Technical Schools: Most can be submitted via email through the counselor, others need to be mailed, please see the college’s requirements for this and request transcripts as needed
