9. Safety Warnings! Never put student pictures on the web Never put student names on the web Never put your school name on the web Be careful about putting your information on the web When in doubt: don’t do it!

10. Creating • Pick a wiki server • For this demo we’ll use wikispaces.com • Create a username and password • Type a name for your space • Be sure to follow appropriate internet usage policies for your school and district!

11. Editing • A page: • Click on the edit button • Add text • Add pictures • Add documents • When finished click “SAVE”

12. Editing • The navigation bar: • Click on the edit button • Type names for pages you want • Highlight each name • Click the link button • Click “OK” • Click “SAVE” when finished

13. When in doubt, HELP • If you get stuck, the help section is actually…helpful. • You will find help in the upper right corner of the screen in wikispaces.
