What kind of family are you? versus
You feel best when you wake up & go to bed at the same time every day. Most members of the family work best within time limits. Family members are encouraged by tasks done on time. There is little deviation in the day to day life of the family. There are very few spur of the moment trips & interruptions. Daddy’s work hours and days off are consistent. Meals can be served at the same time every day.
You wake up at approximately the same time every day, but will sleep in later if you’ve had a later evening. Time constraints tend to produce foul moods. Finishing a task supersedes the amount of time it took to do the task. There are many spur of the moment happenings in the course of a day. (drop-ins, trips to the store, impromptu outings with Daddy) Daddy’s schedule is ever-changing. Meals times are also ever-changing.
START HERE 1. Grab pen & paper. 2. Write down what you do as you do it. 3. Compile your list into an easy to read format. 4. Follow your “schedule” and tweak as needed. 5. Remember, this schedule is not set in stone!
