Photo Questions The lighting used in all of his photos include only natural lighting, and normally go somewhere around the center to illuminate the foreground. The main subjects of the photographs are marine life, wreckage, or the natural beauty of the areas he visits for his shots. You can tell that these are the main subjects because he gives good leading lines and a beautiful natural background to the subject.
Photo Questions The leading lines, rule of thirds, and clear texture in many of David Doubilet’s photos make all of his pictures stunning. I chose the ones I did because the marine life in the photos seem so close … so alive … the pictures make it seem like you’re actually at the at the area where the photo was taken.
Photo Questions To me, the photographer was trying to show a story through his pictures, one that shares the thoughts on the beauty of nature, and how things can really be when you look heard enough. Many don’t take much time to appreciate the little things in life, or nature itself, and through these photos we can now know about some of what we’re missing out on.
