  3. Stereotypes of this time related to a Raisin in a sun • Black Males • Worked for little money • Supported family • Black Female Roles • Clean house • Take care of children • About the Black race • Lazy • Poor • Dirty • Disrespectful • Uneducated

My Cultural background • Considered a “Mutt” • Italian, Polish, Canadian, French, English, Czechoslovakian, Ukrainian. • Participate in family activities • Family dinner on Sunday • Culture and traditions not established • No religious tradition • Parents never enforced importance of Culture. • Personality makes a person’ identify • Doesn’t make up my identity • Me and Play = DIFFERENT • Play- culture made there identity, inspired them • Me- Personality makes a person
